Blessings
September 12th, 2007 by The Leftover Queen
I am very honored to say that this little blog I started less than 6 months ago is currently being featured on Yahoo Food. I feel very lucky and privledged!
I have also been very busy lately as I have taken on another consulting project. I am the culinary consultant for a new juice bar and cafe that is opening up here in downtown Ocala. It will be called Genesis: Heaven and Health. I am creating unique recipes and menu items for the cafe and am helping the owners get their business started!
Roberto and I have also set a date for our wedding – April 19, 2008.
It is a very exciting time!
So I just want to take this moment to thank everyone for their support of this blog!

Thanks everyone so much! These are definately going to be some amazing days to remember. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have met so many wonderful bloggers. I never would have thought that in my life I would have brought together so many people into food – especially over the internet. I used to really not like computers. Now they are my best friend, thanks to the patience and understanding of Roberto who has taught me so much! What a dream come true!
I say when we get 1,000 members on the blogroll (we currently have over 500) that we should have a Foodie Blogroll Convention somewhere! Wouldn’t that be amazing!
Thanks again to everyone!
Thanks Ashley, Andy, Kat Baking Soda, Adriana and Cara! It is such good stuff!
Sandi! I wish you all could come, that would be fun! At least you can know the food will be good!
Thanks Cynthia!
Hi Jeni! It does feel good. It is always a surprise though when it happens to you! So unexpected!

Jenn,
Congratulation on all your good news. You deserve all good things.
As a gift, I’m going to give you an unbeatable juicing combination, that will be sure to bring you much acclaim in your juice bar endeavor. Feel free to use it freely and often. Ready? Here it is:
(Obviously, you’ll be multiplying the amounts)
Juice together:
1 granny smith apple
1 raw peeled beet, it can be small
2 medium carrots
AND (this is the key!) a 1/3 inch slice of fresh ginger
Sue Gordon - September 15, 2007 at 3:14 pm
PS
Add an s to congratulation, please. That’s why I like a preview option..

Congrats on the wedding!!!
I’m coming down to Florida next week. I’m coming over to Summerfield to see a friend’s band play on the weekend. When will the juice bar be opening its doors? Maybe I’ll take a stop up there to check it out.
Windy - September 16, 2007 at 11:56 am
Congrat Queen! Just don’t stress out on the planning for the wedding but enjoy it instead.
The Leftover Queen - September 16, 2007 at 4:55 pm
Thanks Aja! The juice bar won’t be opening until the fall – probably Nov….but next time you are nearby let me know!
Thanks Windy! I am really enjoying it!
