I felt for you with the disastrous preparation - esp with the jug you knew would break some day - I have a large mixing bowl with a large crack and I dread the day it breaks in two pomegranate sorbet and brownie sounds like a fantastic dessert (Unlike you I love my brownie but am ho-hum about sorbet but I am going through a pomegranate phase!)
