I was born in Norway but moved to Australia with my family when I was almost 3. I have fond memories of the cakes from my few visits back and my mum’s nostalgic moments of baking. I was hoping to make Skolerbrod this week in honour of 17 May so finding your blog has made me really happy. One question, you use the abbreviation T in your measurements. Its not a shorthand I recognise – is it for teaspoon or tablespoon? Thanks, Di.

i read your recipe for the buns and i will be making them as i am swedish and i do a lot of swedish baking when i get the recipes thank you for this one and i hope you have alot more

Thanks for sharing a taste of Norway with your readers! Having grown up eating Norwegian food at my grandparents’ place on holidays, I’m now starting to explore the nation’s culinary heritage on my own. I agree–it’s sad that the food of Norway isn’t as well recognized as many other cuisines. But perhaps bloggers like you and me can help change that!
