Hola Jenn and hola everyone!

First of all Congratulations on the 3000 Blogs... what a great and round number  Grin

My suggestions are two: the first one is so obvious... having the picture profile showing at everyone's blog (you probably have that one solved); and the second one that affects me directly is: Blogs should have different and unique names. Both URL and Blog tittle should be different from other blogs. See what I mean? There's two Spanish Recipes blogs in the blog roll and this could create some confusion.

Let's keep on feeding the Foodie Blogroll and let it become the first Blog's Food Reference in the world Cheesy

I will say to add more random blogs, the odds of our blogs getting featured with a total of over 3000 blogs is very slim.   If you could find a way to add more or increase our chances, without making the blogroll larger, that would be nice.

Also I would prefer square corners vs round, and would love to have that as an option.

I'd like an easier way of finding blogs that might interest me - meaning, if I saw a tab for "Pastry Blogs" I would be all over it.  I know the majority of blogs are more general, but allowing for multiple selections could cover that.  For example, mine is pastry, molecular gastronomy, southwest US food (in that priority)

I'd like to be able to find blogs more easily too.  Categories would be good, especially if using tags to allow searching and sub-categories.

Thanks for asking!  That's great.   Smiley

I agree with most of the comments above. We need an easier search function, preferably by most common categories. As I am very new to Foodie Blogroll, I am still trying to understand how to maximise my use here to find out other blogs of my interest and how to make my blog more known.

I am not sure if there is an effective way of promoting and announcing new posts so other bloggers who share the same interest can search and access the link easily. At the moment, I use Tweeter to tweet my new posting, but only those that follows me are aware of my new posts. Alternatively, RSS feed my blog.

I agree with all of these helpful suggestions.

I'd also like to see an additional article in the Forum that explains in more detail the process of becoming an active member for newbies like me.  I've had issues with submitting my blog site and not being able to get a widget and I hate to keep bugging the Queen with my problems.

Thanks to everyone who posted
