Apples, maple syrup and cayenne pepper all set my Crispy Heart aglow and it was a pleasure to play around with these ingredients for the Joust.

I made a Roast Teriyaki Trout with Snappy Apple Salsa garnish that was a hit with my taste testers and hope that you will enjoy it too.

You can see the full post and recipe here: http://wheat-free-meat-free.blogspot.com/2009/09/juggling-apples-maple-syrup-and-canine.html.

Keep on jousting!

After a couple of months of being MIA I am finally back! And here's my entry for this month's Joust. I thought an spicy/sweet salsa wouldn't work, but I was wrong. This salsa paired perfectly with pork chops. Yummy. Read the recipe here.

Thanks guys! And Acquired Taste, I agree with Jenn, we all started somewhere. And the great thing about the Joust is that there are so many people willing to help and advise. :p I do love this forum!

Thanks for being so supportive! I just hope I can get better as I see what other participants come up with and try to come up with my own ways to cook with the different ingredients each time Smiley
