Just wondering who saw this film and found it motivating? I took a friend who I have been talking with for some time about eating more locally and healthy without too much impact. After we saw the movie he is on a band wagon to 1) find more local sources for food and 2) to get his kids motivated to eat better. Funny but I have a website and blog dedicated to health and nutrition and, although he and his daughter are becoming more interested in a healthier lifestyle, it really was this movie that made the difference. :-) Let me know what you thought!

I think this is an important film, and film is a powerful medium. So hopefully the message will reach out to a large enough audience to effect changes. I talk with all of my friends and co-workers about this film, along with the contributing headliners (Pollan, and Schlosser) both of whom have written important food industry pieces. Spread the word!!!

I just saw it recently - and although I had heard about most of it, prior to the movie, it was good to see again. I have several family members that are now making big changes to their diets since seeing the movie! So I think it is great!

It is a great movie- and is out on DVD. From what others had prepared me for- I was actually not as traumatized as I thought I might be. I've definitely made an effort to purchase my meats locally & organic if possible. Farmers markets are also great! The cost is a little more expensive, but I've found it's worth it, the food not only tastes better- but I feel better about what I am serving my friends & family! www.chelgetshealthy.blogspot.com

I was prepared to be traumatized by the treatment of the animals...not by how Americans are being treated. I'm still reeling. I've purchased a copy of the DVD so I can share the news more, and I've purchased and am reading the companion book, Food, Inc. I am seriously assessing and re-assessing the labor -v- cost -v- availability of healthy meat. I have room for a lamb, and probably a steer or heifer. If I lean toward a smaller breeds, I could consider running a heifer and a calf. And I'm zoned Ag/Commercial, so I'm still safe there...so far. You can bet my garden beds will be up and producing soon!

Hi! I have Food Inc on my blog.If anyone still hasn't seen this movie, it's a must. It's in the sidebar under December 2009. Megavideo is the host so you can watch 72 minutes then there is a 55 minute wait to finish the movie. Unfortunatly it was the only host I could find that plays well. http://sureyouwanttoeatthat.blogspot.com/
