Yum!  I'm definitely in... those are three of my favourite ingredients.  The only challenge will be choosing just one dish to submit. Smiley

Congratulations on your win......

I must say I am also looking forward to using these ingredients... I haven't cooked with fennel before so who know's what I will end up with but am determined to give it a go.

Take care,

Jo

You are all so kind, thank you for the congratulations and congrats to the other winners!  We were pretty excited Smiley

We had fun choosing the three ingredients and had some help from "The Flavor Bible" by Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg.  It is a savior in the kitchen for us - you can look up any ingredient and find out what works well with that ingredient, it really is eye opening!  We started with pears (becasue of the season) and went from there.  We are so excited to see what everyone comes up with.  Good Luck and Enjoy Yourselves!

Hi all!  This is my first time posting on this forum and I am stoked about finding the Royal Foodie Joust.  Just one Q...are you able to use any part of that food?  Like, could I use fennel seeds and it counts for fennel?
