Hello! This is the place where you can come and recieve guidance from your fellow Foodie Blogrollers about technical questions involving The Foodie Blogroll. Since I am not always at my computer and sometimes can not get back to folks immediately, you might as well start taking advantage of the wealth of knowledge in this community! Foodies are some of the nicest people in the world and I am sure someone has run into your problem before and may be able to help you! And I personally appreciate all the help I can get!!  |

UPDATE: There is a new FAQ on my blog about how to deal with this problem. We are in fact planning to overhaul the whole Foodie Blogroll process in the very near future - but likely it will not be until late April early may due to our wedding coming up in just a few weeks. I wish we could do it sooner, but life is just in the way right now. This is a process that has been in the works for some months now - I am trying to make the foodie blogroll and its members more of a community as you all know, so this process takes a bit longer. I do apologize, but blogs have gotten really big now and many blogs I visit have tons of widgets and codes on their pages, which slows everything down. So please stay tuned and in the meantime, refer to the FAQ for some temporary solutions: http://www.leftoverqueen.com/the-foodie-blogroll/the-foodie-blogroll-faq/If those don't work, just put the icon on your page with the icon linked to the sign up page for now..other details coming soon! |

I read through the post about the new foodie blog roll page and the new links. When I originally put the blogroll up, I pasted the entire html code, but since I'm using Wordpress.com, you only saw the Click here message. Do the new links apply to Wordpress.com as well? Or do I need to re-paste the code?

You can just leave it as is for now - in the coming months we will be sending out a new code to all the people that joined before March 2008, but for now you are all set!  |

Is there a new code out? Mine still says Huge Foodie Blogroll update.
I was just at another site today, and they had one that had today 10 blogs listed.

Hi,
I submitted the request last week and yet to get the code. I know you are busy but just wanted to know when I will be getting the code so that I can join the blogroll. I do not know if I am doing the process correctly. I went thru the FAQs and thought i'll just ping in here so that you can see. Please advice.

How do I get the new code?
Mine is still the temporary one that has a link to faq's & the list. I've seen the new one that displays the newest 10 & the random 10 of the day. How do I change over to the new one?

When we are finished doing all the updates to the new site : www.foodieblogroll.com in the next few weeks, we will be sending an email out to all the older members who have the old code. You will be able to login to the new site and get the new code as well as change your information and view your stats. If you would like the new code before then, please feel free to register your blog again at: www.foodieblogroll.com/submitI will approve your blog and the new code will be sent out to you quickly! Hey Jenn,
I just redesigned my blog and I messed it up royally (ha ha)
To make a long story short, I need a new Foodie Blogroll code. I know you're redesigning everything and new codes will be sent out to old members soon enough, but I just wanted to make you aware of the situation. I don't wanted to be deleted from the roll for not having the code on my page!

I submitted it and then the page didn't load correctly, so I hope that it went through. I'll wait another 3 weeks (because I know you're busy, young lady) and if I don't receive a code, then I'll know.
