Royal Foodie Joust Participation and Voting Guidelines! YOU MUST READ THIS!!!

Disclaimer: this is all tongue-in-cheek, a play on words inspired by the name of my blog. In my mind, we are all equals here, so this in no way is to promote any hierarchy. It is just for fun and a bit of silliness!

Royal Foodie Joust!

Every month I will be hosting the Royal Foodie Joust where Foodies from all nations come together and compete for the Queen’s favor! Each month a new challenge will be brought forth – you will be given three ingredients and your creativity of what to do with these ingredients will be the only thing separating you from the rest!

These are the rules:

1) You must use all three of the ingredients in your recipe to be considered for the Joust (but your dish is not limited to these ingredients).

2) You must post your entry recipe (ONE photo/one dish only - since there is a Best Photo category, so there is no mistake about what photo you would like to have displayed) on THE FORUM Thread: “Foodie Event: Royal Foodie Joust” http://www.leftoverqueen.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0 under the correct month you are jousting in by the 1st of each month, to be considered for the Joust. Please feel free to post the entries on your blog as well and encourage other food bloggers to come to the forum to vote for you. If you post your entry on your blog please, mention this foodie event: Royal Food Joust and include a link to my site http://www.leftoverqueen.com/ and a link to the forum http://www.leftoverqueen.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0 so that others who may want to join us can.

3) No more entries will be considered for the joust after 12 NOON Eastern Standard USA Time on the 1st of the month.


4) Voting will happen on the forum for the next 5 days (1st of month  to the 5th of the month  and a winner will be announced within 48 hours on The Foodie Blogroll page. The winner will then pick the next 3 ingredients for the next challenge and it happens all over again!

5) Please only one entry (meaning one dish) per person, per IP address. No exceptions.

6) Please only ONE VOTE per person, per IP address, If there is more than one vote per IP address, all of the votes under that IP address will be nullified.

7) New members have voting privileges only after being a member for at least 1 week and having 1 post. If you are a new member and you want to post an entry to the Joust, please be sure to sign up for an account at least a week in advance, so that we can be sure to get your account activated in time!!!!

8 ) The contest will be void if we have less than 5 entries in a given month.
