I have devised a plan for how to pick an entry:

I wait until I'm hungry, near dinner time...and then pick the most appetizing one!

Hah, Kimi- I hear ya. I only got one vote, and I didn't even expect that! (Thank you to my mystery voter- you are the coolest person in the world, obviously.) Lol, we SHOULD start bribing... Wink

With SO many entries, it's hard to spread out the votes! Since only registered food bloggers are allowed to vote, there aren't as many voters as the earlier Jousts, but there are two or three times the entries!! It's crazy how big this has gotten! I love it though...everyone is so creative! I know you were just kidding, so I'm not trying to be all serious with this pep talk, but I honestly do hope you'll participate again next month! Maybe next time, instead of a tie between waffles and tacos, it will be between me and you! Cheesy

No votes for me, either.    Embarrassed  But, I figure that's due to the fact that I won back in September, and they wanted to give a newb a chance.

Hi Everyone!!!

I have to pose this question to the Forum, because this has never really happened before - we have a tie for first place, second place and third place, something I had not ever considered would happen before and I am not really sure how to handle it. So I am asking you all for suggestions on how you would like this to be handled and then we will take a vote on the suggestions.

Here is one suggestion. Do another poll to break the tie for the first place winner, then the person who places second in that poll becomes the runner up. Then another poll between the second place tie, and whoever wins that becomes the third place winner.

I really feel that it is important that this is a group decision, as we are all members of this community. So please let me know what you think! Until then, we will just have to be left in suspense!  Grin

Can there only be ONE 1st place winner? Can't all three win? I like the idea of another poll (or two), but then it will be that much longer until the next joust can start. And will there be a good turnout? This IS the most entries and votes yet, but...

New as I am to this game/ fight to the death, I think it is amazing how evenly spread the votes were.  Vote offs sound like a good idea.

I know it will prolong the next joust, but maybe a vote of just 2 or 3 days wouldn't put things off too far...

I was here hoping for new ingredients already!  Grin
